The Research Methods course is designed to expose students to, and engage them in, a range of traditional and contemporary research practices in the arts and humanities. Students receive practical training in the use of a range of digital and analogue research tools and materials, gaining skills in the use of archival and published material to support hands-on research practice. Guest lecturers provide insights into the prosecution of a current research project, describing the challenges they are meeting and the discoveries they are making as they work towards increasing knowledge in a particular area.
