Practical application of finite elements to analysis and design of aircraft and space structures; nonlinear analysis including geometric and material nonlinearity and analysis of contact; dynamic analysis including free and forced vibration and transient solutions; FEA applied to structural design and optimisation; interfaces with CAD systems.
