This subject will cover:<br/>• What is Landscape Design and Landscape architecture?<br/>• An overview of the Landscape industry (designers, contractors, gardeners and their relationships). <br/>• Landscape design principles and a sense of place<br/>• Melbourne’s garden history (including period house identification) <br/>• An overview of garden designers, both contemporary and traditional<br/>• Briefs and client relationships to projects.<br/>• The residential landscape design process (site analysis, schematic design & design documentation).<br/>• Planting and materials design - use of form colour and texture. -- Course Website
