Element one addresses advanced scientific and technical concepts associated with either medical ultrasound, advanced Multislice CT, , paediatric imaging or professional education and leadership. Element two considers the moral and ethical issues surrounding research, sources of information, quantitative and qualitative research methods and current trends in research in medical imaging. The unit develops skills in the critical analysis of the literature associated with the aspect of medical imaging that students have selected as their selected topic.
