Introduction to the discipline of psychology as a behavioural science. Topics include descriptive statistics and an introduction to inferential statistics, basic processes and principles of cognition, abnormal and social psychology. Laboratory classes enhance students' understanding of the lecture material and provide training in research techniques. Compulsory attendance at weekend schools is required for all off-campus students. -- Course Website
