This unit is designed to provide students with knowledge and skills to recognise and effectively manage chronic wounds. Students will consider chronic wounds such as pressure ulcers, diabetic foot and leg ulcers and investigate these in relation to their incidence in the community, causes and predisposing risk factors, strategies to reduce or eliminate causes, short and long term management. -- Course Website
