This course provides students with an overview of principles and application of rock mechanics, including behavior of intact rock and rock mass, in-situ stress and measurement, rock mass classification, time-dependent and dynamic behavior of rock, roof support and reinforcement, pillar design, subsidence and other relevant topics in a modern mining operation. -- Course Website
