An understanding of cultural differences and how to manage such differences is critical to effective management in international and multi-national business environments. This unit aims to develop students' skills in dealing with cross-cultural issues in relation to management and communication when it comes to working in different societal contexts. It examines how the social and cultural environment influence management and communication processes within organisations and with this understanding in place, the subject then focuses on the negotiating process and on cross-cultural factors which affect international business negotiations. -- Course Website
