Private property is a central institution in most Western political, social and legal systems. The Property A unit aims to introduce students to this area of legal knowledge and to the historical, social, economic and political factors which have influenced its development. In addition, the Property A unit enables students to gain an understanding of the relationship between the rules of property law and other rules used to resolve conflicts between legal persons. -- Course Website
