This unit outlines the design process with particular reference to creative idea formulation, information searching, problem solving, and incorporation of two and three dimensional design principles in terms of form development. User-centered design models are considered in terms of cultural, physical, logical and semantic constraints, mapping relationships, standardisation, control and feedback factors.
