This unit addresses the increasing demands placed upon service administrators and professionals working in a range of service areas seeking to improve skills and knowledge with respect to three specific domains: pedagogical practice; administration and management; and leadership skills. Students orient themselves to an early childhood community and through a research inquiry examine the pedagogical practices within it. Effective pedagogical and administrative leadership provides the intellectual tools to support the development of inclusive, culturally safe and secure places for all citizens who participate in early childhood services. -- Course Website
