This unit requires students to apply both theoretical and practical knowledge in creative pedagogies within the framework of a research project. This unit extends the learning in EDF5811 (Creative pedagogies in practice) for students wishing to apply creative pedagogical research methodologies in community- and school-based contexts. Further, it will enable all pre-service teachers (not just those who will teach creative arts in schools) to expand their chosen discipline knowledge developed over their participation in this course to include creative approaches to teaching and research.
