This unit enables students to understand the scope of information and communication technology (ICT) education in secondary school (Years 7 to 12). It provides students with opportunities to develop their knowledge and skills relevant to teaching ICT with a particular emphasis on the junior levels in secondary schools. This includes the use of technologies to represent understandings, conceptualise and manage ideas; to create and communicate; to engage critically with the impacts of technology on society and education; and to develop an understanding of the relationship between ICT curriculum content and pedagogy. -- Course Website
