This unit enables pre-service education students to continue to build a strong foundation for their career-long professional learning as secondary school teachers of accounting and related commerce studies. Students will further their understanding of key theoretical and pedagogical perspectives and issues in the teaching of accounting and related curriculum. Through an examination of a range of curricula drawn from state, national and international contexts, students will gain deeper understandings of current developments in the theory and practice of accounting education.
