This unit focuses on the planning, implementation, and evaluation of high-quality, play-based curricula in kindergarten settings. Students will develop skills in integrating a range of curriculum domains, with an emphasis on early literacy and numeracy. The unit also provides an overview of early childhood curriculum frameworks locally and nationally, in the context of wider curriculum theory. Students will develop strategies for observing and assessing children's learning as a basis for planning, and pedagogical tools to assist in communicating with parents, and for curriculum planning and evaluation. -- Course Website
