This unit develops the theory and practice of leadership and programming in relation to outdoor recreation. Concepts, principles, styles, leadership skills and programming techniques are investigated as they might occur in a broad range of settings. Ten days of fieldwork allows students to gain experience in applying these skills. -- Course Website
