This unit introduces students to the study of a range literary and cultural texts drawn from different historical periods and parts of the world. The unit's aim is to enrich and enhance students' understanding of their own as well as of other cultures, and to equip them to analyse both individual literary and cultural texts and the genres, periods and movements to which they belong. -- Course Website
