This unit introduces students to different modes of historical and political writing. It examines the rationale behind the various modes of writing and relevance these writing have to historical and political subjects. It examines the how different modes of writing can be evaluated. Students studying this unit will be encouraged to apply their knowledge and understanding of the various modes of historical and political writing to their own particular research interest. -- Course Website
