This unit builds upon the skills acquired in Ancient Egyptian language: the basics, and aims to provide students with a firmer grasp of the language and aspects of ancient Egyptian culture transmitted through historical and literary texts. Advanced grammar will be studied and used in the translations of key texts to study how the ancient Egyptians expressed their cultural ideology. -- Course Website
