This unit will help students transfer their journalistic skills to digital media - such as material generation and web authoring - and the convergence of print, audio and video formats, and the integration to produce and distribute content. Students will be introduced to a set of research and reporting approaches that will enable them to locate people and story details using online tools. They will build on the skills they acquire in the unit to report, write news and produce multimedia packages news for online audiences. Part of the teaching will be in block mode in the lab. -- Course Website
