The unit examines the components of demographic change and their social consequences, in particular: trends in fertility and their implications for population ageing, death and disease in Australia, Australian immigration policy and its implications for the education and labour markets, and implications of population growth for the natural environment and urban settlements in Australia. -- Course Website
