This unit considers a range of psychological concepts that have direct application to everyday life and adjustment to the modern world. Topics include motivation, stress and health, psychological disorders and therapies, relationships, emotion, and behaviour change. Students will be encouraged to apply the topics to their own lives and thus act as their own case studies. The unit thus covers a number of common 'pop-psychology' topics, but with a more critical, scientific approach. -- Course Website
