Issues and events post 1900 using global and regional frameworks. Critical analysis will be used to gain an understanding of the most significant forces that have shaped the period 1900 to present. Topics studied include sovereign states; imperialism; World War I, the Depression, Nazis, World War II, Nuclear Age, Cold War, Collapse of the Soviet Empire, and Nationalism in the 1990s. -- Course Website
