This unit will complement APG4691 Intermediate interpreting and introduce students to the issues and techniques associated with conference interpreting and translation. . Students will be exposed to the practice of conference interpreting and translation (introduction to simultaneous interpreting, communication skills, preparation techniques, terminology, ethics, and working practices) with a specific focus on international organisation's processes and procedures. -- Course Website
