This unit is both theoretical and practical. This unit covers narrative therapy practices including deconstruction of problem saturated stories, externalising conversations, 'thickening' of unique outcomes, remembering conversations, therapeutic file and letter writing, and participating in reflecting teams. There is also a focus on people's positioning on cultural discourses (such as those influenced by race, gender, sexuality, etc) which shape their sense of themselves in the world. The unit is largely interactive and experiential in presentation and participants are supervised while practising skills. -- Course Website
