This unit deals with heritage broadly defined to include both natural and cultural sites. Sections include a discussion of the varied perceptions and definitions of heritage and their basis in broader individual and community values and ideologies. There is an emphasis on the sustainable management of heritage sites in relation to tourism, consumption and climate change. -- Course Website
