This unit provides an opportunity for Study Abroad and Exchange students to directly engage with the community through experience in a workplace, which may include companies, government agencies and not-for-profit organisations. The units comprises of workplace experience in an organisation for a total of 120 hours of part-time work over the semester period. At the completion of the unit, students are expected to have developed: skills in relation to the application of theory in the real world, work-readiness skills, cross-cultural understanding, and a better appreciation of their discipline and future profession. -- Course Website
