This unit provides an introduction to geographical perspectives on population issues and research, focusing on the Asia-Pacific region. Topics studied include historical and contemporary fertility and mortality patterns, migration, urbanisation, ageing, Indigenous populations, population-physical environment interactions, and the politics of population. -- Course Website
