There are many public images of children and young people. These images can serve as a powerful tool for guiding parenting, public policy, and the images children and young people hold of themselves, yet not all images are accurate. Academic staff from a range of disciplines will discuss images of childhood. From different disciplinary bases, they will examine whether research evidence supports the public image. -- Course Website
