This unit explores how to research and write about performance and movement practice. As practitioners, how can we write about our own creative process? And what is involved in writing about other people's practices, whether in the arts or in other social and culture genres? This unit draws on a range of disciplines – including performance studies, anthropology, phenomenology and non-fiction writing – to teach students how to research and write about moving, fleshy bodies and about live spaces and places. -- Course Website
