A study of the important texts of the period will be undertaken, which illustrate the unstable political situation of Egypt after the fall of the previous Old Kingdom period. The texts to be studied in the original language and interpreted will include the biography of Ankhtifi, the Admonitions of Ipuwer and the Dispute of a Man and his Soul. -- Course Website
