Students participate in an archaeological project for a minimum of three weeks full-time, though in the case of an archaeological dig in Egypt, the participation is for six weeks. The dates for participation in digs must be discussed with the unit coordinator (Dr Ken Sheedy) as soon as possible. Students are individually responsible for meeting any tuition and residential charges and otherwise for planning and paying for travel and accommodation. Before enrolment students must consult with the unit coordinator and complete a form outlining the proposed fieldwork project. The Department may provide a list of suitable fieldwork projects. -- Course Website
