This unit details and analyses the laws relating to income tax, fringe benefits tax and the goods and services tax in Australia. Students completing this unit will review legislative provisions, case law and rulings and apply their knowledge of the taxation laws to a variety of fact situations and case studies as well as participate in group discussion. -- Course Website
