This unit provides a deeper understanding of the theory and practice of accounting information systems, its controls and risks as applied to businesses. It includes analysis and application to real life business scenarios of the following technical areas: information technology and the documentation of systems; the use of different systems and electronic commerce; system planning, development and control; computer ethics; computer crime; and other contemporary topics.
