This course focuses on the contribution of sound to the creation of screen meaning. It introduces students to both physical sound theory and the theory of sound/image relations. Students proceed from location recording and the critical analysis of soundtracks to the design, recording, tracklay and mixdown of a short film soundtrack. <br/>PREREQUISITE: 7681GFS (Screen Production 1) or equivalent. -- Course Website
