The primary purpose of this course is to develop knowledge and skills that can be applied in a variety of health care settings to assist health service managers make value added decisions, policy interpretation, service planning and service strategy and structure. Participants will apply high levels of critical analysis and evaluation as they examine these areas. This course is designed to equip participants with the skills to address these issues in strategic decision making in the Australian health system, policy implications, health services planning priorities and the allocation of resources. Current issues will be contextualised within political, economic and ideological frameworks. -- Course Website
