This course is aimed at developing proficiency in techniques in a number of areas of microbiology, including environmental, medical and industrial microbiology. It provides skills for cultivating, isolating, identifying and enumerating microorganisms, and enables students to apply these skills to more complex microbiological laboratory tasks.
