This course explores various concepts associated with globalisation and its relationship with emerging Corporate Social Responsibility practices. While rejecting some of the more extreme ideas associated with globalisation (i.e. that the nation state no longer has any significance for business operations), the course explores the drivers for, impacts of, and contradictions of global competitiveness, changing international business practices and their relationship with the application of business ethics, corporate citizenship and stakeholder management concepts.
