This course provides a focus on the strategic importance of sourcing in achieving sustainable environmental, societal and economic outcomes for business. Sourcing is presented as a key to creating value through innovation, cost optimisation and asset utilisation and the contribution it makes to the organisation's competitive position. The focus of the course is mainly on areas identified as critical to establishing a business case in sourcing goods and services such as demand analysis and supply market analysis.
