The dissertation must address an issue that is clearly within the field of chosen degree and makes a substantial contribution to the knowledge base of that field. The scope of the topic should be appropriate to the masters level in terms of feasibility and methodologies. The incorporation of divergent approaches to the resolution of a research problem is encouraged. The dissertation work is carried out under the supervision of one or more academic staff members. Intending masters candidates should discuss possible dissertation topics with appropriate staff members, and nominate supervisors in their application for admission. -- Course Website
