Multimedia is becoming increasingly important in education both as a means of educational delivery and as a learning activity for students. If educators are to take advantage of the potential of multimedia they need to be able to understand the essential factors which comprise good educational multimedia. This course aims to develop in students an understanding of the basic principles of educational instructional design and relevant pedagogies appropriate for use with educational interactive multimedia.
