This course examines how genes are regulated in eukaryotes, with a particular emphasis on regulation of gene expression and mechanisms of development from stem cells. All levels of gene regulation in eukaryotes are considered with a view to understand how this can influence tissue development. The course also looks at how tissues can be engineered from stem cell sources.

Advised Prerequisites: 1006BPS Functional Molecular Genetics
2012BPS Molecular Biology

ncompatible: 3006BBS Gene Expression & Development
3020BBS Gene Expression & Development
3010BPS Gene Expression and Development. -- Course Website
