Histology is the study of tissue biology: the study of structure and function of each tissue type and how those tissues form the organs and systems of the body. This course will cover the defining features of epithelium, connective tissues, muscle and nerve tissues. Students will understand the processes of preparing and viewing tissues by light microscopy. They will also understand the physical bases for the appearance of tissues in the light microscope. <br/><br/>Pre-requisite: 2002MSC Pathophysiology. -- Course Website
