During this course, students will be provided with rushes of particular scenes from two existing (long form drama) films. Each student will edit these rushes in order to maximize the dramatic flow and impact of the scenes, keeping in mind the context of the film from which the scene is derived. This task will be preceded by discussion concerning the aesthetics of editing long form drama, and followed by a comparative analysis of the actual finalized film provided by the supervising editor and director of each film. -- Course Website
