Arts 1 will provide students with a broad understanding of the five arts disciplines specified by the Australian National Arts Curriculum: Dance, Drama, Media Arts, Music and the Visual Arts. Students will gain knowledge and understanding of the role the Arts play in the individual child's development. There will be a focus on the development of imagination, creativity and symbolic representation through practical exploration of each of the Art forms and the connections between them. -- Course Website
