The course will define and illustrate the analytical approach to instrumental analysis, in particular environmental applications. The theoretical principles of classical and instrumental analysis will be reinforced by means of a laboratory and tutorial program. Students will be encouraged to develop problem solving skills and apply these to the solution of real chemical problems. Assessment is by laboratory reports, mid-semester and final examinations.

Pre-requisite: 1502ENV Chemistry II or 1502EAS Chemistry II

Incompatible: 2506EAS Analytical Chemistry. -- Course Website
