Microorganisms impinge on nearly every aspect of human existence, with beneficial or detrimental effects. The course will aim to contribute to the students' understanding of microbial taxonomy and biology, as well as host-microbe interactions, pathogenesis, diagnosis and prevention of infection. <br/>Microbiology for Oral Health introduces students to the study of microorganisms responsible for infectious diseases, with particular emphasis given to the oral environment.
