This course concentrates on three broad areas. Firstly, there is a grounding in basic algebraic mathematics. This is essential to the understanding of the next area in the course. The biostatistics lectures will cover the type of statistical methods applicable to biomedical and health science studies. Finally, lectures will build an understanding of computers and information technology, to store, retrieve and analyse biological data. -- Course Website
