This course covers all aspects of the general field of microbiology including types of micro organisms, microbial taxonomy, micro organisms involved in disease, environmental microbiology, microbial biotechnology and techniques for isolating and identifying micro organisms. The course consists of lecture material and rigorous laboratory training in microbial techniques and applications.
