Introductory treatments of prokaryote micro-organisms, protists, fungi, plants and animals will be presented with stress placed on their position in the tree of life and their ecological roles within ecosystems. The lecture course will be complimented by a series of laboratories in which students will become acquainted with key examples of each of the kingdoms studied.

Incompatible: 1151AES Biology and Biological Diversity; 1602ENV Botany and Zoology -- Course Website
